Pastoral Care Ministries
Ministry to the Bereaved
- Ministers to the bereaved seek to provide emotional and spiritual support to people and families experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one through death. Support is provided through assistance in the planning of funeral liturgies, wake services, attending funerals, and contact with family.
- Two 6 session Bereavement Support Groups are offered to the bereaved during the year. One in early Spring and one in early Fall.
Ministry to the Sick
- Homebound: members of the parish community minister to parishioners who are ill at home. They visit and bring them Eucharist. Sacraments of the Anointing and Reconciliation are available.
- Hospital and the Gables: Ministers of the sick visit Winchester Hospital on the first and third Sundays of each month to pray and minister the Eucharist. Weekly the Pastoral Care Givers minister Eucharist at the Gables.
- Nursing Homes and Assisted Living: Members of the parish community in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living complexes are also visited.
- Blood Pressure Clinic: Monthly Blood Pressure Clinic on a Friday during Breakfast Club.
- Sunshine Committee: An outreach to the parish homebound, elderly and sick. ‘Get well’ cards, seasonal and birthday greetings are sent.
- Other Ministry Projects: Advent ‘Kristkindl’ and ‘Easter’ outreach are other Ministry

- Divorced and Separated - DivorceCare. When a marriage dissolves and one is faced with the many changes (financial, life style, expectations, emotional, relationship) this support group provides a variety of programs to assist in coping. Meets Monday at 7:00 PM. Several times a year the course “Divorce and Beyond “ is offered. Call (781) 729-8220 for more information.

Music Ministry

The Adult Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings, 7:30 to 9:30 PM.

- Morning Prayer (On Feast Days)
- Fatima Meets on Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00am)
- Men's Fellowship Group meets every other Tuesday 7:00 - 9:00 PM in the meeting room off of the parking lot. Good company, good conversation, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Check the bulletin for the next meeting and consider joining us --- Could be the fastest 2 hours of your week.
- Women in the Spirit meets at 9:45am and 7:30pm on the second and fourth Thursday of each month to discuss the scripture, life, and the journey of faith (see calendar).

Voice of the Faithful (VOTF)

Somerville Homeless Coalition Volunteers
- Since 2006, members of the St. Eulalia's Parish have been serving meals to 18 homeless residents living in a group home in Somerville. The group of volunteers prepares a meal on the third Wednesday of each month. Click here for more details about helping. See the Coalition website.
